How do I know if I or my child needs speech therapy?

If you or your child are experiencing difficulties with communication, such as being understood by others, expressing thoughts, understanding language, using voice effectively, or swallowing, a speech pathologist can help. We offer initial consultations to assess any concerns and discuss the best course of action.

What should I expect during the first session?

During your first session, we will conduct a comprehensive assessment to understand your or your child's specific needs. This may include discussing medical history, observing communication and conducting standardised assessments based on your needs. Based on this information, we will develop a personalised treatment plan.

How often will I need to attend therapy sessions?

The frequency and duration of therapy sessions will depend on the specific needs and goals of each client. Some clients may benefit from weekly sessions, while others may require less frequent visits. We will work with you to create a schedule that fits your needs and schedule.

Where are your sessions held?

We are a mobile clinic, meaning we come to you! Our speech pathologists provide services in the comfort of your own home, at schools, workplaces, or any convenient location within Sutherland Shire, St George area and surrounding suburbs (travel fee is applicable). We also offer online sessions via telehealth for those who prefer or require remote therapy (no additional charge).
